Hi, everyone. This is an introduction to my 2008 English AP Class. I am the teacher Shirlane Wei. We are from Sacred heart High School for Girls, Taipei, Taiwan. This is my 18th year of teaching English for teenagers as a foreign language. My great contentment lies in helping students learn and use English naturally and successfully. When it comes to learning English, the truth that practice makes perfect can always stand the test of time. With the help of more advanced ICT (Internet Communication Technology), to put oneself under an English environment is easier than before, so that we can create for ourselves more opportunities to use authentic English.
I felt privileged to work together with 23 outstanding young girls. We plan to join some interesting on-line projects where we may understand us better through project research and better appreciate other participant schools from many different countries. I think this year is going to be an exciting journey of English learning as well as a brand new window on the world for all of us.
